Project Overview

The project consists of two AI-based applications developed in 2024:

1. AskLibrary.ai:

   • A tool for interacting with personal book collections
   • Implements advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) technologies:
     • Query understanding
     • Multi-step retrieval
     • Reranking
   • Enables comprehensive text-based research across multiple book sources

2. MemoryPlugin:

   • Adds long-term memory functionality to multiple AI platforms
   • Supports ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, TypingMind, and LibreChat
   • Works on desktop and mobile browsers
   • Explores AI memory enhancements and model fine-tuning

The project stems from the author’s personal need to improve information retrieval and AI interaction capabilities.
