Project Overview
Coders.School is a C++ programming training initiative launched in 2018 in Wroclaw, Poland, aimed at bridging the skills gap for new programmers entering the job market. The project focuses on teaching advanced programming skills to individuals with basic programming knowledge, including:
- Programming tools (git, make, cmake, vim)
- Scrum methodology
- Advanced C++ topics (exceptions, STL, memory management)
- Modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17)
- Good programming practices
- Recruitment preparation
Key Achievements:
- Founder earned over 8,000 PLN/month (2,000 USD) working part-time
- Requires only 10 hours per week of effort
- Plans to expand to full-time online courses in the future
The project addresses a perceived lack of practical programming skills among university graduates by providing targeted, advanced technical training.
