Bugfender
Project Overview
Bugfender is a remote logging tool for iOS and Android developers that enables accessing log files (NSLog and logcat) from a distance. Originally an internal experiment at Mobile Jazz, the project has evolved into a successful software service.
Key highlights:
- Purpose: Solve remote debugging challenges for development teams
- Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR): €7,300 (~$8,600)
- User Scale: Growing consistently
- Development Stage: Not yet at break-even point, continued investment in marketing and platform expansion
The tool emerged from the team’s own work-related challenges in reproducing and diagnosing development issues when working remotely. Despite initial uncertainty about the project’s potential, Bugfender has grown into a viable product with ongoing development and improvement.
