Vimalin

Project Overview

In 2021, the author developed three distinct software projects:

1. Vimalin: A backup solution for VMware virtual machines that enables backing up VMs while they are actively running.

2. Vimarun: A Windows-specific utility that allows automatic VM startup and suspension synchronized with the host system’s boot and shutdown processes.

3. Antview: A WebView2 ActiveX control that enables integration of the Edge browser’s HTML5 rendering capabilities into software that traditionally could not support modern browser controls.

Each project addresses a specific technical need in virtualization and web rendering technologies.
